    just got my ticket for when they are at verizon wireless music center in noblesville, in near indianapolis


    anybody else going to see him while on tour?

    no but they are still effing awesome live. I saw them two summers ago at SPAC with the Allman Brothers and they were phenomenal. Hope you enjoy it.

    it's so ridiculous that all stadiums/arenas are now named after random corporations.

    no but i wish. travelling wilburys are among my favourite bands although the heartbreakers are awesome aswell.

    Not I, but I wouldn't mind seeing them live. Not my favorite band, but definitely one that you can't ignore.

    i saw tom petty live in '06 and it was pretty good. but i will not be seeing him on his latest tour even though hes coming to town. too many people at stadium shows.

    what would be a good starting point for listening to tom petty? ive only heard a few of his songs and liked most of them so is there a particular cd or couple of cd's i should check out or is it all good?

    I have their greatest hits and Toms solo album Highway Companion, you could start there.

    i recommend tom petty album full moon fever and his album highway companion also with his work with the Heartbreakers the album Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers and the album Damn the Torpedoes
