Not enough cash to do Amsterdam this year : - (

So me and the missus decided to go see my hometown,

which means a flight from SW Florida to Boston, Mass.

Was planning on stowing some goodies "south of the border".

Was wondering if the rumor of airports using X-ray on humans are true, or is it just still metal detectors?

And if so what do they pick up?

    Thanks in advance!!!

I can't say what happens on a domestic flight.
I was flying from FRA-MIA (international flight).
But I was electronically sniffed by a machine.
And this beast even sniffed that my trousers and
backpack had met some THC clouds last week.
Ok, very very thick clouds. For days. ;-)

These x-ray machines for humans just see metal parts as far as i know. the rest is very hard to recognize. You would see a gun or a knife clearly. But anything organic or non-metallic looks kind of blurryas they showed it twice on TV. Recognizeable that it is a human with a trouser, a shirt and a gun in his jacket... but not a really sharp picture.
I wonder why this should be better than a metal detector. (Got to google this.)

Anyway these other sniffing machines are your problem. It sniffed just the smoke. And they took me apart. But I had nothing in my luggage or on myself. I was asked where I come from, I answered Germany. He just rolled his eyes and said I can go. lol. I missed my connection flight and spent two more boring hours at the airport...
But at least I experienced this sniffer. And I missed the cute dogs which are normally too lazy to do their job. ;-)
