... would you most likely vote for? Not that you can't vote 3rd party anyway, but most will not because they see it as a wasted vote. well what if it wasn't? what if there were no Democrat or Republican nominee and it was a 3rd party or don't vote at all, what party would you go with if you could vote your heart and head instead of settling for less?
In case you are wondering i used the Libertarian, Green, and Constitution Parties because they appear to be the 3 largest outside of Dem and Repub. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third_party_%28United_States%29#Current_largest_U.S._third_parties_.28voter_registration_over_100.2C000.29
Libertarian, i voted for Bednarik is 04 and would love is Paul came back to the party and ran in 08 as a Libertarian.
I voted Libertarian but regretted it later, they are a bit loony and don't have a serious platform. Never found a third party I could whole heartedly support.
sorry to say he's already stated that he won't run on another ticket but rumor has it that the libertarians are giving him an endorsement.
Green Party. Although I disagree with their core principles on a Deep Ecology belief system when it comes to worshiping Gaia and protecting the environment above people and the realms outside of an Agrarian model are of lesser importance. I agree with its anti-monopolized-industrial bias, but not an anti-techonological bias. It's a myopic view that revolves around hyper-conservationism of the planet and environment above any social relationship and goes too far for me. I think I am fundamentally a socialistic type person. But, yeah out of the parties in the poll I'd pick Green Party hands down.
well it appears that so far the Libertarian party(non-interventionist, low taxes, low spending, minimal government) is winning the poll at almost 70%. on this site? who knew?
