"Acroos the Universe"..

OMG,, that movie rocked!! that was probably one of the best movies I've seen is soooooo long.. I love how they sang all the beatles songs in their own way..
totally a movie that would go great with Acid lol.. it's definitely one of those movies you could watch over and over again..

It's really nothing like across the universe... But it's a pretty good musical, well, I liked it...

 

I love musicals I'll have to see that.. if you like the Beatles or just trippy movies for that matter I'd definitely recommend "Across the Universe".. the war scenes were the only things that made me want to cry.. it was very very well made... some parts of the movie though you're like "huh? that was strange" he had to have been on drugs when he made it lol..

 

i loved it, it was simply amazing. i do suppose it could have been better. it was sorta cheezy.


what ruins it for me is people who obsess with it. there's this girl at school that didnt even know "i am the walrus" was by the Beatles until she heard that song. she thought it was just something from Finding Nemo (i have no clue what she's talking about). She annoys the shit out of me.

 

Great movie and I hate musicals. Not better than JUNO though. Its my favorite.

it's hilarious if you dont have to have Film class with her.

Most contrived and disrespectful movie I've ever seen.. they knew nothing about the people in the movie at all or the 1960's, fuck that movie! I lose respect for anyone that likes it I'm sorry but its true

 

whatever. i looks really entertaining to me, and i bet i'm going to like it just to piss off a twenty year old, because i'm disrespectful of the 60's.

 

I felt weird about this movie. The visuals and songs were exceptional but the storyline I felt was awkward to fit the songs in.

eddie izzard as mr kite was trippy...

 

I've seen Pink Floyd's The Wall far more times than any other movie. And I've seen it on acid at least five times, but that's prolly why I'm so fucked up.

How can you guys like that movie, they ruined the songs. The movie was just another way to cash in off of the beatles, i got too depressed before finishing it. I guess it was just a chick flick, but any true fan of the beatles knows the movie was lame if anything.
