Why do drugs make you more creative? The truth is,,,, they don't. What drugs do is lower your inhibitions which makes you less afraid to show the rest of the world the creativity that's inside of you.
i believe that they can enhance your creativity but only along side plenty of good old sober practice
Personally, once I started experimenting with drugs I quickly learned to clear my head of any stupid thoughts that don't matter. It is partly about learning to fully immerse yourself in the present moment. Focus is key. A time for making art is no time to be thinking about bullshit. I'm not sure if I aquired this when I started tripping, but I learned to speak music very fluently with people. I feel a tangent coming on so I will stop right here.
They change the way you think. When you think differently, you act differently. Usually, anything different would be considered creative.
Some drugs inhibit the filtering of certain perceptions. This can cause you to experience beautiful new things, including yourself.
Speaking of psychedelics and creativity, whats the deal with LSD art and eyes? I have never had anything related to eyes in my trips.
partly just because the moment and experience your having with the drug and partly, most likely because your mind is in a delicate place where you are you and nothing more basically you rid yourself of your fears and go with it.... know what im sayen?
I think lsd is more suggestive, rather than a pure visual hallucinogen such as psilocin. if you think of something, you're likely going to construct it in the visual cortex
