Pipe naming?

Does anyone name their pieces? I have this sweet glass necklace pipe named Fungi that saves up resin so you can smoke it straight out of him, and Thor is my metal pipe with a chamber to let your bud get all resin coated.

 

no not really. i do sometimes but i got a pipe that still hasn't been named. i might one day, i just never really thought about it.

 

I had a pipe named Anya (Joy) she survived a carb fracture, but then died later on the kitchen floor. it was very sad. she was my first, and she was yellow and blue and green and just the prettiest purple. I haven't had another name come to me for a pipe since, but I think some are just utilitarian, and others are special, or have a noticeable personality. They have to jump out at you. BOO!

 

Sounds like it was a nice pipe, I want a purple pipe or bong. That would be the best. =)

 

i name all of my pipes. So far i got alien my first bowl, big red my first bong, nomad the acrylic second bong, and my newest piece is stanley the steamroller

Yeah, the first sesh with a bowl I always dub it. Right now I have Toad, the red, white, and purple pipe.

 

I named all of my pieces. Theres Cleborp the Bubbler, Biggy Swirlz, Hubert, and Beary Garcia.

 

i've never named mine...

 

Is it weird that i give my pipe/bong human names? Like, my bong is Sally, and I have a bowl I call Janis. The names just came to me one night and I decided to go with it lol.

 

I have way to many pieces to name them all with enough care for it to matter.

I have a hard time naming something that i control.

 

I name my pieces when a good idea comes to me (but only when I'm blazed, of course).
Almost all of them are named, but it's harder to name cheap pieces. Glass pieces have so more personality.
I've got Cousteau, Cruise (like the missile), Flash (like a muzzle flash), Gypsy, and about 3 unnamed pieces.

It's important to me to try to name my pieces, but it's not for everyone.

 

I have a red/yellow/brown bowl named Prometheus (I didn't come up with that name, my friend who bought it for me did), and I have had this bubbler for a couple weeks and not come up with a good name yet.

 

Cool, cool... I didnt realize so many people named their pipes =)

 

I've got a beautiful glass pipe named iris, and a vap named roxanne.

 

I have 2 bowls. One is named chrome cause it's shiny as fuck. And the other is named freedom. That's how i came up with my name for HF.

 

My pipe is named Sunshine and my mini bong is named Yellow Jacket.

At my old place my roommate had 24 pieces and everyone was named. That's comitment.
