My friend swears he sees things when he's on oxycontin, even though its just some really strong pain reliever. I don't believe him at all.

It's very rare that oxycodone leads to hallucinations, but it is a known side effect; however rare it may be . . .

I get it every time. Though in my case, I've taken so many psychedelic drugs that the opiates just intensify my already different perception. I wouldnt call it hallucination, it's just playing with the light of energy, and most drugs besides alcohol bring the dance into play.

never happened to me, and can't picture it happening, but that doesn't mean it's impossible.

Yes alcohol is the one that dims that light.

    Yea!
Though I imagine that if one were to pound a litre of vodka in one gigantic gulp session, one may be dazed into seeing pretty lights

opiates can cause hallucinations, but usually it only happens when medications are mixed.
    is your friend prescribed anything?

Actually this is very possible, buts its not really caused from the oxy codone. When you start dippin out, you can go into a half dream like state almost for a minute or two...then its very possible to see shadowy figures or things movin in the corner of your eye. Its happened to me a few times, you really gotta be dippin hardcore though.
