Well I went ahead and ordered some Doc Bronners.

I know how much to dilute it and all, 1- 1/2 teaspoon in a water bottle and then fill the rest with water, etc. etc.

But I'm curious about the actual washing process, seeing as my dreadies, if they can even be called that yet, are only a few weeks old; how should I scrub my scalp?

Should I take it very easy so the knots at the root don't fall out?

just work it in with your fingers thats what I did then again I started my dreads when my hair was past should length but still working soap in with fingers seemed to work for roots

Ah mate, the knots are gonna fall out no matter what. Just remember, the point of washing your dreads isnt to wash the hair itself, but rather to clean your scalp. So when you wash your hair, just be gentle.

As for the dilution, I'm not too sure, I bought a botlle of liquid bronners, but could convert OZ into mL or is it g??? I have no idea.... So I just bought the solid version. :)
