That has to be one of the more sickening things I've read today. "Until the day that the color of a man's skin is of no more importance than the color of eyes everywhere is war!" That quote always come to mind when I see humans treating other humans this way. I understand that everyone in the world is afraid of terrorism, but to HARASS someone based on their race is just wrong! Not all muslims are terrorist, nor are a majority of them.

 

God-Dammit why do I always have to be the bad guy, I really think you people need to go walk around Bagdad for the day, tell those people how much you love them and how you don't care what color their skin is or what religon they, oh yeah before you go make sure to pay your life insurance bill cuz you won't be coming home, these people HATE you and will stop at nothing to kill you, they are fucking savages. Flame me all you want, if you think I'm full of shit go to bagdad for the day and come home, then and only then can you tell me I'm wrong. Wake up people, yes love and peace are a good thing, and I try very hard to live my life that way but you also have to be realistic.

Have you been to bagdad? Cause I do think you're full of shit, and maybe YOU need to go there. That was their capital, and we tore it apart. That wasn't a military base, it was a city full of civilians. Regular people like you and me. Not savages.

Saddam had his base there, his underground bunkers and military all retreated to baghdad...please, dont make this sound like the US just went there to kill people

lol...right Megara - it's the "terrorists" (though i don't even know WHO you're referring to here) who bombed the fuck out of Baghdad. In fact, all that video of the US bombing Baghdad to hell - that was actually footage of terrorists who had hijacked US planes.
Let's be serious here, please.

 

baghdad was not leveled, most of the city was still in working condition even after the bombings by the coalition, lets be honest about this. Most of the sections that were destroyed were part of saddams military complex that was integrated into the city. Sure not every bomb hit its intended target, unfortunately, but we did not go in there and completely destroy the city, like oh, we did with dresden.

Maybe you havent turned on the radio/tv for the last oh...365 days or so, but there have been constant car bombs and other attacks in baghdad and other cities.

 

WIllow, Suicide Bombings do cause collateral damage.


What does this have to do with being white? I am really fucking sick of being demonized for my color. This has more to do with being arab than ebing white. Lemme ask you, why do you think he set alarms off? Well in this age of over induced paranoia an arab with a video camera is scary shit. Nohelmetlaws, apparently you've never been to the near east. Iraq is different than most Muslim countries. This statement you make shows that we haven't come very far in race relations. People are still grouping all Muslims in with one or two nationlities and believing that they're all extremists. We've made Iraqis hate us. I've been to Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Israel and Jordan while on a tour of Nazi Germany war sights and I was given nothing but respect.

I was given less respect when I crossed the Mediterranean into Italy for my flight home. Italians are more hostile toward Americans than are most Muslims in the Arab nations. I was housed for free, and honestly the family unit, religion, and respect for the fellow man are top priorities there. They've certainly got better family structures than us here in the states. Granted, women are still considered subordinates to men, but for all the misconceptions in America that they are sick fucks - babarians who have no morals - they're fairly decent, respectful, well-educated people. Half of the Muslims in the countries I visited can dwarf most Americans in arguments about our own government and politics. Near Eastern countries are more industrious and are a completely different world from that of far Eastern countries like Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan. I strongly suggest you actually experience these countries before making such statements.

Well Im just a school girl from Australia so Im not going to pretend Im an expert of the world but I just want to say this.Its all good for us to sit back and read these things and say how bad they are rarara.........but as basic human beings we can't ridicule another race for their belief as bad as it may sound. Fear and Terror do horrible things to human beings and when it comes down to it there is not a force in the world strong enough to overcome the emotions of millions of people. To say that it is terrible is an understatment but that in itself is an understatment because I thought God(wherever he is) created a world of peace and harmony..if a person is not free to be the way they are ordained then where is the peace or harmony in that? I know people say that they are just mad arabs and should be shot for their actions but can't we think beyond the initial reasoning to see that not all of them are bad they are just lost individuals seeking any form of help and leadership they can and they can't help it if they choose the wrong leader...whose to say that the devil wouldn't have been better then god?All Im saying is a path never ventured is a path never known.

 

I don't believe in God, but if you're a Christian you should probably be familiar with the "free will" argument. It's the argument that keeps all their lines about God being "merciful" and "omnibenevolent" from swallowing themselves and going down the drain. God bestowed upon humans free will, to decide what they will do with their lives. This is the reason why you have wars and bad people in the world, or more aptly, this is the reason why God can't be held accountable for a 3 year old girl being molested and murdered, and therefore can't be proven a sadist. Christians sure are good at wrapping up their loopholes with "magic", ofcourse when your entire religion revolves around magic, it's easy to see why you'd cover your flaws in reality based logic with more magic.
