ugh! Fucker, if i am home sick and throwing up and there is plenty of coverage, why the fuck do you feel the need to give me a guilt trip and make me feel even worse, are you just a dick? AAAA supposed to be home resting after all night of stomach release, and his attitude toward me being home when i have plenty of paid time off made me feel even sicker! I am posting my resume today, been there 8 yrs and this is how i am treated? FUCK YOU! thanks for letting me vent.
that is what bosses do..it is all about the guilt trip..they figure if they are there, you should be there..probably thinks your faking to.
I say drag yourself into work and be sure to handle everything your boss will be handling- use his phone (be sure to sneeze into the receiver) stick his pens in your mouth and slobber liberally on them. Ensure he takes on a good virus load then go home, rest... in a few days you should have a couple peaceful shifts to look forward to as he is made to realize in a most intimate way that you were not faking.
You 're right that is what they do!! ugh, its worse than a Jewish Grandmother the guilt trips he lays, and I try to not take it to heart, but how can i not.... stinkfoot, Thanks for making me laugh, i am not nearly as pissed today as yesterday, also because i am feeling soo much better, but i LOVE your idea!! I will have to use that next time i need some peace around here.... "lysol? i think we ran out"
The following quote suggests that she's already thinking along those lines: ... but I'm sure she appreciates your epiphany grade ray of right and superior wisdom.
Okay then, allow me eliborate. Quit, but do it dramaticlly. Start it off with reciting versus from Walt Whitmans Oh! Captain My Captain. But this must be done while standing on a desk or something to that effect. Then say in a very loud voice that you quit. Then jump of the desk and march flamboyently out the door while whistleing/humming the German National Anthem.
seriously, no one else saw how close this came to being incredibly dirty? can't blame the boss though. the last 2 times i was sick i had to work double shifts because both times i had an employee who didn't feel good. the last time i went and threw up in the bathroom and went to sleep in the office for about an hour, only to be woken by the phone call that my replacement decided not to show up because she didn't feel good. not that she didn't feel good so she got so-and-so to cover her shift like i've stated repeatedly that you must do if missing your shift, but just the simple "fuck you, stay at work without being paid for an extra 4 hours while you're throwing up." i'm sure she thought i was giving her a guilt trip too
