Guitar Hero III makes me want to learn guitar

So i'm playing my guitar hero, i've finally stopped sucking so much that i've beaten the game on medium, i'm playing the last song and at the end it says "you rock", but then i thought, not really, i'm just pushing the buttons when i'm supposed to, that's not going to impress anyone and it doesn't make me feel cool.

so i've decided to learn how to play a real guitar, but that's as far as i've come, i don't know the first thing about playing an instrument. maybe i should just buy an acoustic and some "how to" dvds...

then i can rock for real.

 

No Guitar Hero is cooler, just learn to beat expert mode and you'll impress a lot of people.

 

maybe, wearing my leather jacket does make it feel kinda cool, but i'd still rather know how to play the real deal.

 

I play guitar, and i beat GH on expert within 2 weeks of getting the game. Im not pro at guitar but it beats the shit out of posing.

 

Can you play any of the songs that are on GH III on your actual guitar? any that you would like to play but are too hard?

 

Play real guitar. Focus on it and then you'l realize guitar hero is lame.

I play bass, but I still lpove guitar hero.

I know kids who suck at guitar hero but will blow you away with a guitar.

 

go with a real guitar. within a few years you will be able to play alot of those songs and really be able to impress someone. that is if you work hard at it

although i dont really care about impressing others i like to play along with the song and impress myself and rock out. ;-)
