sugestions for hand made dreadlock goods......

    .......I was just curious what kind of things would you love for your dreadlocks that you have difficulty finding. I make alot of crochet headbands and tams but i want to branch out to other things. I also sew and have started making up some dreadbands too.

    Let me know and il have a bash at making something :)

    I like tying my dreads up, but find regular hair bands too small, weak and they don't look pretty. It'd be nice to make a band that can hold all your dreads up in a bun/ponytail but still look really nice...

    if you want a quickfix for the band issue, holygiblets, try the top inch or so of a good quality sports sock. just cut it off and use that. it seems to be the perfect size and its soft so it wont damage them :) i always have several chillin on my wrist lol and all my socks have no tops.

    oooh, i like this thread. i agree that ponytail holder alternatives are a great idea. i think i'm gonna try making some stuff too. then we can all post our results here! :)
