i have a sack of boomers and the stems have some green coloration in them. The green doesn't seem to be growing on the actual stem, but it seems to be part of the actual stem. would you say that this is mold, or is it normal for stems to have some green on them?

That sounds like staining. Is it a bluish green? A pic would help.

Could be trich. It grows green, but I've never seen it discolor the mushrooms. Of course, I've never fruited a contaminated substrate, either, so I could be wrong.

    Two poisiblities,
Natrual brusing which would be a blue-ish colour.
The mushrooms were not dryed/properly and have ave fungus growing on them.
