So ive heard from a few people that when you detox for a drug test, it kills the tolerance your body has buit up to weed. i have no idea why this would be true because then everybody would detox themselves and it would be like smoking for the first time all over again and pissing out water 50 times a day trying to get clean has nothing to do with tolerance..any opinions?

You havnt been smoking for very long have you? It's common knowledge that you take a break when your tolerance builds. A week or two is enough to get it down. The longer you go without, the lower your tolerance gets.

People take breaks all the time. The downside is it builds back up very quickly.

no actually ive been smoking for almost a year and am well aware that taking a break from pot or anything for that matter lowers your tolerance its common sense. i heard if you detox yourself without taking a break it completely kills your tolerance..true?

you can't detox without stopping smoking. That would be like trying to get niccotine out of your system but still smoking cigarettes.

You could "detox", use a kit or vinegar or tons of water and exercise, but then once you smoke again, your tolerance will only have lowered proportionatly to the amount of time that's passed since you last smoked.

All fo the home remedies that I mentioned to "detox" yourself may make a slight, i doubt noticable, difference, the best way to rid yourself of THC is time.
