Beautiful vegetable garden. The older I get the less I am into veggies and more into flowers. Here's a pic of one of my David Austin roses with pyracantha flowers. I do grow some veggies but usually just a tomato and pepper, eggplant etc. mixed in with my flowers.

I am jealous that you guys have so much land to grow plants on. I have a small vegetable garden which is maybe 3 feet by 10 feet. Ill have to take some pictures this spring.

Gardener, those are so pretty. I think this year I am going to add some flowers to my garden, I enjoy sitting in it so much!

    Excellent wandering blues :)
I see you had the same idea as myself - using logs to make the raised beds. Ive found that slugs like living under them. Hopefully this year Im going to get some chickens who will turn the slugs into some tasty freerange eggs!

Lunadaze those are some beautiful tulips!

for my whole garden, i just used what i had on the property or nearby. we have an alder forest and a bunch came down in a wind storm so i used those as edging and posts.

gardener-Is that a Graham Thomas? It looks like one I used to have.

I mostly have flowers along with some fruit trees, but last year I started some herbs and vegies, just to get a little more practical use from my garden. Plus it's fun. The best sun is in my front yard, though, so most of my vegies are growing there, next to the driveway.

Yeah, my mistake it is the Graham Thomas.

Treehugger maybe you can id the red flower in this picture by the peruvian daffodil. I forgot what I planted. The foliage on it is a lot like a glad. And it is a bulb or tuber.
