http://www.theage.com.au/news/technology/times-up-for-petrol-cars-says-gm/2008/01/14/1200159401944.html their wrong about electric cars no way will you be able to run anyway near 600 million cars on electricity . but anyway thats one of the worlds largest car makers saying no future for petrol cars and we have peaked
The future is bicycles. Ten thousand people riding their bikes to work. Oil will dry up, no doubt nobody will find that holy grail of endless fuel. Get Britain mega healthy and we can run on People power.
I think fat/naughty kids should be put on exercise bikes hooked up to generators. Thusly we help generate clean energy, cut down obesity and get kids in off the streets and doing something productive!
Have someone make a sequel to the film version of Hitch Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy, construct some sort of magnetic coil around Douglas Adams' resting place, harvest the massive amounts of energy by him turning in his fucking grave.
well, personally, i think the idea of "fat camps" are horrible too. maybe if you'd been a fat kid yourself you'd understand how horrible what your saying is. while we are at it, let's put all the over-active kids on hamster wheels to power the lights too.
An announcement like that from GM must mean that they're about to roll out a new mass market electric car...
well yes but how pray would you power the 900 million oil cars that are in the world today , its not going to happen . They have left any form of transition too late my advice to you all is get ready for the collapse of civilisation
you will be soon out of a job as will millions of other people . let me explain with oil its not when the world runs out of fuel that bad things start happening its when it goes over peak world supply , which is about now . read this site dont scan it read it and click the links if you disagree and it will backup what it says http://www.lifeaftertheoilcrash.net/
Long read, but a good one. Yep, we're all doomed. We all need bikes so we can save the oil for all the other products we need!
