I have such problems with paranoia when it comes to my friends. Whenever I don't hear from them for awhile I think they don't want to be my friend anymore, if they say they can't do anything at the moment, I think they're lying. I always think the worst. It might be because I had a lot of bad friends in elementary and middle school who did all those things, and eventually we stopped being friends (this happened with several people). But now my friends are all good, and even if they are lying about not being able to come over because they don't want to or are hanging out with someone else, it shouldn't matter to me because I know they'll still be my friend, and a lot of times they ask me to hang out, but I still feel really paranoid about it, and I can get pretty depressed unless I have a friend over every other day or so. Any advice?

You should find an ocupation !! In order to make yourself more confident and keep your mind of stuff like that which ends up reflecting negatively on your surroundings !

Buy a bunch of stuff you don't need with credit cards. Then you'll have to work all the time to pay for it. Then you'll have hardly any leisure time. Then you won't even notice you don't have friends. Instead you'll just wish you could find time to sleep. It works for millions of Americans. I'm sure it will work for you too.
