bbc documentary lists 20 worst drugs

a body of scientists have compiled a list of the 20 worst drugs based on damage to the individual and society in a scientific study and one controversy is that it claims mdma to be much less harmful than alcohol... which will probably feature in tomorrow's editorials... and with a bit of luck it will help shape drug laws in the future...

1) heroin
2) cocaine

alcohol was in fifth

tobacco in ninth

speed was tenth

marijuana was twelth most dangerous... citing schizophrenia etc

lsd fourteenth

mdma eighteenth

 

marijuana is the 12th most dangerous drug? those scientists mustve gotten their information from reefer madness.

 

im surprised mdma wasnt higher, thats what most people in the anti drug use community are trying to say is really bad right now.

 

Im glad to see that they realized that alcohol is more dangerous than pot because it is. Alcohol cause people to do many things that theyd never do sober. People can murder someone when drunk and not even know about it the next day. When your baked i find im more cautious about things but maby thats not the case for everyone else. I totally agree with Herion being the worst, because it is. I think Tobacco should be #3 another substance where nothing positive happens.

 

MDMAs alot more damaging to the individual but in a sense of society it is great, I mean whats so dangerous about a hugging drooling e-tard? Replace that with crack and you got some thoothless ****** running around the backyards of those tax paying patriots.

I would think meth is higher than cocaine. Meth is smokeing the chemicals under your sink. MDMA when its pure and not as XTC is very different. Pure MDMA is way more deadly thay bud. LSD more deadly that bud? This all sounds like bullshit.

heroin actually is not destructive to any organs... other than constipation and reduced appetite, they only list it as #1 because its so good, pretty much anyone who shoots it is hooked for life because its just too damn good. Its like cycle of addiction/downward spiral that causes the damage to people not the drug itself.

 

pure mdma is pretty much 100% safe

Ritalin, Steroids, GHB, Ecstasy, and solvents are all "less dangerous" than Weed, and i don't even see Meth on the list, though amphetamines are on there.

the list was 20 most popular drugs in uk in order on danger. hence why no meth because uk is (thank god) still relitivly meth free.

 

Methamphetamine must be somewhere in there.
