So...I finally found an excuse to build a guitar: School project! And we're going to build more in the future.
Neck is prefab and we found it on the dutch ebay thingy. had to buy one because we didnt have THAT much time..but the next time, we're gonna make one ourselves.
Body is made out of Black Korina, the sound is similair to Maghony and it kinda looks like a mix between ash and maghony. Erm, the pickup is a 30 buck Boston pickup, but hell it sounds good! http://i32.tinypic.com/soojg4.jpg

There were some problems with making the guitar, as this was the first time we ever did such a thing. But I guess it turned out pretty good. People who played it said it played extremely well and said the sound was great. So yea :) Here ya go

    Thanks guys!

Im really getting a lot of positive reactions from lots of professional guitarplayers. Everyone that played it said it played very nice and sounded good. I will post a recording with this guitar soon!

Im still not completly satisfied, so Im gonna sand of the lacquer and cut of some edges maybe and get myself an arm cut out n stuff. Plus the lacquer has some "drips" in it.
I used boat-laqcuer by the way.

Thanks for all the great reactions!

Very nice! I really dig the look of the wood grain, you must've had a good time making it.
