aspect of being a leader? if all it takes to be a leader was your OPINIONS and what your policies are, then every one on here that agreed with obama would be AS QUALIFIED to be president, wouldn't they? what seperates obama from hillary and everybody else, isn't just his POLICIES, but his ability to INSPIRE, motivate, build a movement of hope and change. that's how you change a country, thats how you lead a people, thats how you make a better place to live. the man single handidly has the entire world inspired right now, i dont know why thats not reflected in him destroyin the vote, people are just too stupid to think that hillary's so called "35 yrs of experience" and because she was bill's bitch, means she can do a beter job or some shit. "I've never made a speech like this at a political event before. I'm here because finally one person has inspired me. ...That person is Barack Obama," DeNiro said.
people talkin about obama is all talk and fluff. yeah, so was martin luther fuckin king, his speeches were all fluff right? so was gandhi, right? fuck outta my vision.
don't even compare todays corrupt ass political rhetoric to what gandhi and mlk did, when they had to fight on behalf of a race, and risk their lives. you could sense the urgency in their voices, they knew they could easily die for what they did. the inspiration matters when you actually need it, and are fighting for your lives. this is 2008 politics. we're not rebelling or some shit. electing on character is what fucks us up the most, they even have a name for it. i remember hearing something about reagan being the first to utilize it. george bush did too. ELECT BASED ON VOTE RECORD i didnt see that word once. people perceive character differently, it's subjective, vote record is objective and perceived the same.
I dunno how you can be a great leader and want to stick around in Iraq and possibly go into Iran. I don't trust any of these people.
Ok, your head is dense. I am not comparing them to those people, of course the situations are different, but a leader is a leader, the thing they all have in common as well as barack is their message, CHANGE and to UNITE, and change and unite can only be accomplished through motivation and inspiration. Vote based on voting records? Ok, why weren't you suppoting kukinich? or mike gravel? or even joe biden? It takes more than a fucking voting record, for somebody to be a great fucking leader of the free world. I am not saying that's irrelevent, of course we should look at the voting records, BUT that is not IT. You can list any number of candidates with a similar voting record to barack, or hillary, or mccain or whoever else on the other side. Does that mean they would be equally as good LEADERS? A leader doesn't just fuckin VOTE. A leader is the VOICE of our people, and a leader is the voice TO our people, both at the same time. And also, how do you judge the voting record of people that weren't even senators? Come on now, your argument is all over the place.
