Sorry, but it made me laugh a little bit that you spelt Rastafari wrong, when the word is used in every other post on this board;):p

Thats not disrespectful, thats cool. Rasta is not the only one allowed to have dreads!

Beck-go for dreads, if thats what you want. Dont worry about how they will look. Thats the point of dreads.

is it disrespectful if i am not rasta, but i wear the red-yellow-green stripe flag?

i don't neccessarily see that flag as a "rastafarian" flag, but more a symbol of peace for all people.

i hope i haven't offended anybody by my flag or my dread sleeves or tam or anything.

i am not black nor Rastafari, and i have dreadlocks. this is mostly because of the love i have for the carribbean and jamaica ( i have spent much time there ) and the people there. my hair also started dreading itself, so i decided it was ok to go with it.

All I can say is What up dread head?
He who feels it nows it
wich is to say by creating a dread you understand the value of life, via care fee expression or celebration

a few im sure would be offended, but that dosent matter. dreaded hair is a natural proccess and as such cant be confined to any one race or religion. just let it grow, and grow with it.

That flag is the eteopian(spelling?) flag................
people long before Rasta came about had dreads. In the middle ages people only washed their hair in the summertime, they wold get sick if they did in winter and they called them fairy locks, they thought fairies came at night and put them in and it was supposed to be bad luck if you brushed them out!
