Are there any movies/youtube videos that portray a realistic acid-trip or what its like to be on acid? i know in slc punk there are about 2 parts in the movie where characters are on acid(sean, stevo and sandy), but are those scenes realistic? post a link to any videos/clips that portray what its like to be on acid. -I'm still looking for acid and I'm real exited and curious on what its like
Fear and Loathing in las vegas is the most accurate portrayal ive ever seen... And even that doesnt even brush the surface. nothing can mimick an acid trip. Even an acid trip. All your trips are so different because of set and setting. And since your life is constantly radically changing, each trip is radically different.
The book goes into much more detail than the movie but either way, yeah it's pretty realistic considering Hunter tripped a fuckton of times and would definatly know what he is talking about. lol I love that man.
sweet haven't seen that movie but ill make sure to find time to rent or buy it,, how about that youtube video where that dude with the hoodie goes into the washroom and he looks in the mirror and his face like constantly is warping is that realistic?
Ya that is a good representation of part of it The shadows on peoples faces really change, turn like that, just less 'morphing' more just like its not there, then you refocus and the person's face you are looking at was a werewolf all along!, but there is some contorting, just not as smooth as in that video lol
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=h9EpnVAl5JA pretty good....not 100% accurate but somewhat simular edit: just realized you guys were already talking about this video
Haha that video reminded me of the first time I tripped. Everyone's face would look normal in the light but as soon as we would turn on the blacklight and turn off the regular lights everyones face started morphing into different shit. There was a shadow in the window that kept changing into different things too. It was pretty cool, I remember going outside and in the distance of the backyard there was a graveyard with hundreds of black 'shadow cats' hanging out on the tombstones and stuff. There really wasn't a graveyard at all back there. One really cool thing was when me and the two people I was tripping with all looked up at the same time and saw the same 'ufo'. Also the trees looked like they were dancing and I could swear I could feel them breathing. It was amazing.
I had to ressurect this old thread to post this in case someone hasn't seen it. Cause I think this sequence is awesome... http://www.stage6.com/user/Milanmate/video/2113071/Blueberry---Peyote-Vision---Milanmate If your worried about installing the plugin, don't worry, stage6 is a legit site and the plugin is great. some of the visuals and moods portrayed in that are incredibly accurate I think. Especially how the shaman is sitting in the geometric shape surrounding him while operating it in the other dimension, I saw/experienced something very similar to that. And also penetrating through all the cells and synapses to the sub-atomic level (indra's net), then going even further into there into the like... inner chapel or sanctuary of being I guess you could say. Although... I have not tripped as hard as that video portrays... Although the whole soft, golden feel to it I think is more mescaliney than acid. Acid would be more electric and rainbow.
watch the movie, across the universe. theres a scene in there when the character portraying ken kesey is driving the psychedelic bus n all the colors change. its what your eyes really see when you're frying. -Tos
my friends face was more similar to fear and loathing, as in you see the smile or the terrorful frown and it is insanly exagerated and it flows up or down, but not to the crazy extent of fear and loathing. my friends face was once a cartoon of someone else. with all the videos on youtube iv never seen any that get as fucked as me and my friends. i did have a few crazy videos from our acid trips, but i think their deleted. we should all try and make some, and we'll have the crazies shit on youtube.
