Zeitgeist movie, what do you think...

I just finished the movie and have so many thoughts. I agree with the arguments against religion, greed, corrupt government. Many of the issues they adressed were very valid. But i dont know what to think. I want to listen to these people, for they seem to have my best interests in mind. But on the other hand i cant help to suspect this movie of just being anti-government propoganda. Before viewing the movie it was my personal belief that the government controls the people like we are mindless masses.

And the thing about the implanted chip, nooooo way. I see this as a possability but i will never go along with that. I think a world government would be great as long as it was headed by good willed people. It would be a great opportunity for world harmony.

I believe everything about how wars were fabricated for the personal gain of some, while millions of people had thier lives ruined. It is beyond me as to how someone could kill so many people for a few millin dollars, even when they are already wealthy beyond belief. It is crazy to think about how much we as a people do not know. We may never know what is really going on. I hope that people would have enough morals not to let something like that happen.

For the protection of its people, the government must take some drastic measures behind out backs. If they must break the constitution or take away some of my freedoms to ensure that i live well and safe, i dont care. But as soon as they start doing this to gain money or for the greed of power, no way. The problem is that through media, they could be doing one thing while saying the other, and we will believe it. It is a crazy world that is being ruined by a few bad people.

im amazed that 2 years after the first thread on this movie,with the vast amount of threads here on this movie people still feel the need to start a new thread to express there views on it..

couldnt you have commented in the 3 or 4 threads started in the last week on this same topic instead of starting a new thread?

i dunno, it says right in the forums guidelines (not that i imagine you read them), as well as in the "tips for newbies" thread to search for a topic before starting a new thread,but hey i know what a foreign concept something like that is to your generation, i guess i should expect nothing more.

 

chill. yea i did a direct search, only about 20 threads, and none really what i wanted to get at.

but to get to another point, those posts say a lot of shit in the movie was incorrect, like the facts about gods and dates. idk i believe some of it. but to blindly believe this movie is like blindly beleiving any other media. think for yourself. i hope some if these conspiracies come out soon...

some of those threads are multiple pages long. i find it hard to believe that your thoughts on the subject wouldnt coincide with one of them..

in fact i believe theres one in religion or Christianity dealing strictly with the inconsistencies of the religion aspect of the movie..

Watch the movie, research your own facts this way you know what to believe and what not to believe.

Normally I give a pretty detailed response to Zeitgeist threads, but like Billy said, they're just getting old.

Thanks for bringing "From freedom to fascism", I haven't seen that one.
