    Yes.
However, if they are blind from birth, they still won't see anything in their trip.

I used to get migranes lots a few years ago and I had one again the other day. What would happen is I would fist go partialy blind, there were patches in my vision that I couldnt see as if nothing was there, it wasnt black or anything it just wasnt there. Its very strange.

typical migraine behaviour. Blurred (or patchy)vision and then the headache kicks in. Try a dark room with no sound and your eyes closed until the blurred vision clears. Take excedrin or tylenol and maybe a smoke a little weed. I then grab some caffeine and go about my day. Sucks ass.

i know this isn't answering any questions, but i saw a documentary on television last year about a woman who was blind from birth and received eye transplants.
the whole thing was about the operation and i can't really remember most of it, but the key point am tryin to make is this:
after about three weeks of having her vision, she killed herself.
apparently because the world she saw with her eyes was Hell compared to the world she "saw" with her other senses when she was blind.

just to add to the ongoing wonder at this topic.

    ^ that's really neat actually =D
I wonder if she saw exactly what we saw. When we are babies we go through periods of development with our vision where we focus on different things (faces, shapes, patterns, colors; I can't remember the order). I wonder if without it you will have a normal vision.
I would think it could be overwhelming gaining a new sense. Like if you woke up with the ability to hear thoughts or something.

    That woman's story is mindblowing.

    It does raise questions.

Actually, I use what's called a screen reader. Visit http://www.gwmicro.com/ and check out Window-Eyes if you're interested. It interfaces with the Windows OS to kind of get a general idea of how things are laid out onscreen. The special browsers kinda suck to tell you the truth. I'm kinda surprised at the lack of response to my above post. No questions? That's abnormal.

thanks for pointing out sense of size - and texture. I had thought of sound, and there's also movement through space - that's a sense (I think there's a word for it, but I can never remember it) in any case, I bet all these sense get messed up & ... trippy.

Actually - your answer was kind of complete - maybe that's why no follow up?

Meh. Perhaps so. There's this trope with people where they're unwilling to ask questions out of concern for offending me or something. With most people I have to coax them into comfort. Ignorance isn't a stigma or a curse. It's just a state of mind. Hmm... so is shrooming. Who'da thunk it?

On an unrelated note, I'm about to start in-home cultivation! W00t for me!

Are you seriously asking a blind person-on the internet- to help you with this question? THEY ARE BLIND, THEY CANT SEE THE SCREEN

As you can surely see Thulsa Doom, a blind person (on the internet) has already answered my question. :)

Chalk one up to fucking ignorance. That kind of attitude is the type to piss me off.

Yes, I actually had this thread bookmarked. Haha!

Making idiots look like idiots FTW!
