I had a biopsy done this morning

    Has anyone had a biopsy done on their cervix?

    I had one done this morning b/c they found pre cancerous cells down there.

    I go in, and she tells me that it wil be slightly uncomfortable and it will feel like popping a zit.
    and she fills me in on the routine and when i have to come back and that i can't use tampons or have intercourse for 10 days.

    I lay back and she begins to do what she does and then i feel this "slightly uncomfortable sensation that will feel like popping a zit"
    WTF

    I dont know what type of zit she's had to pop but I've never had to pop a zit that felt as painful as what she was doing to me.
    she took 6 samples from me and the last two she took, brought tears to my eyes.
    I look over and I see the assistant nurse standing there holding some metal claw thing with blood on it and she says "oh here's some tissue on it, i see it now" and then she looks at me and pats me on the arm and says "you're doing good my dear" bitch :confused:

    I kept thinking about how, if men had to go through half the crap women went through with their bodies, they would curl up in the fetal position and cry all the time.
    Hell, sometimes I want to do that! HA


    so that's my rant.

    and in two weeks i go back to get the result.

    My neighbor had that done before. UGH. You are right, men would friggin die of horror. Hell, if it was that time of the month all they would be doing is laying around bitching. They probably wouldnt even get a biopsy done, or their mammogram. Being a woman is challenging, but worth it I suppose.

    so true!!! not long ago i had a miscarriage, i was just about to enter my second trimesteer...so when it passed it was fairly large (i was alone in the emergency bathroom when it happened) so i waddled back to the room and the 2 gynie doctors there immediately flipped me on my back in stirrups diving in for whatever tissue was left. my hubby didn't have time to leave the room...so he stood there and watched in horror....i mean his face was pure horror...besides the agony, the look on his face was pretty funny....it probably is what got me through it lol!!!
