i have tried asking him what he meant many times but i just cant understand what hes talking about.

i tried that a while back but well im just confused by the terms he uses as this whole sex peak just looses me and i dont understand one half of it at all

you could add to that list

    erotic
    sexy
    turned on
    aroused
    sexuality

just a few things for a start

Intimacy has nothing to do with sex. Some use it as a synonym for making love. But, intimacy is when two people really get to know each other, and do not fear anything said coming back to hurt the person who said it. It involves being truthful, kind, loving openness among two persons. Intimacy is perhaps the most intense union that peole can share, and often leads to sex.

Many people fear intimacy as they've been burned by someone hurting them at one time or another. People who have been abused dread intimacy to the point that they'll avoid intimate situations and instead get into situations that they can control almost exclusively.

In all likelihood, the guy you're talking about may not mean all of what I just described. Many people experience an almost euphoric feeling when the have had an intimate moment, much like one feels after making love to the person we love most of all.
