Does smoking opium produce the same type of high as doing a pill such as OC's or herion? I've never smoked it before and i was just wondering if it was the same at all. Or is there a better way than to smoke it??
No not at all opium is alot more of a mellow high and its affects are not even close to hard opiates like H or OC's. I love opium the high is nice and mellow and you can control how high you want to get and the taste is amazing. The smoke is nice its not harsh at all like with weed or hash. Mixing hash and opium together is amazing. Opium is best smoked out of a bowl in my opion and a cheap one. Its so dam hard to burnso don't put it in a bong.and don't even try putting it into a Blunt or joint you will just waste it and it will not burn right at all. If I were no get a gram of opium I would smoke it out of a metal or wooden bowl. Hey if you can ever find a good hook up for real opium you better buy as much as you can. opium is so dam hard to find today. Its easier to find DMT and Peyote today then it is to find opium.Just make sure the shit is real 9/10 when buying opium anywhere like at a festival or a show or form a street dealer in the Ghetto its fake shit. Opium is just so hard to find most dealers are eather selling fake opium or trying to pass blond brick hash of as opium. In all my years of using drugs I have only smoked opium a hand full of times maybe 10. I have not seen it at all in the last 4 or 5 years in New York eather. So like I said if you find it make sure you stock up on it.
I've smoked it twice. My older brother bought a half of it to sell and he gave me some for free. It was a way more mellow high than pills, and I remember the smoke being very fragrant. It was expensive as hell to buy though, going for around $30 a gram. It was around for about 3 weeks and then disappeared.
Well its all morphine, so its more like getting a slower/lower dose of morphine than you get from heroin or OC, you aren't supposed to burn the opium gum... you heat it ( like in a meth pipe) until the morphine/other goodies are vapourized and you can then breathe them in. By burning it all the stuff just comes out really fast and much of it is wasted. You slowly heat it and draw, then set it aside and wait a bit then repeat. Direct flame on opiate gum will waste it.
Yes , the reason shocomb said don't put it on weed is because it vapourizes at a much lower temperature than weed is burned so it wastes it so dont bother with that. But it will work in a vape. (if only you could find a real opium pipe which kind of stores the opium in a compartment away from the flame and you turn it back into the heat once you want a hit and then back into the other compartment)
acaa5-You are right.the more I thought about it when they show those old films of some old chinese guy sitting in some opium den smoking one of those big ass opium pipes he never puts the flame on the opium he puts the flmae underneath it. I guess its like smoking Herion.Shit man I wish I had some now to try that new way.If you don't have the right kind of pipe and you do Put the flame right on the opium make sure you inhale it slow and burn it real slow if you burn the shit fast and inhalke fastyou will not get as many hits at all if you burned it slow you will just be wasting it real fast. buy the way Opium does have a great smell to it just like insence.
almost spring P.S You could make your own opium pipe i guess, its like a long wooden thing, with a U shaped end, and on top of the U shaped this is a metal plate kind of thing, which is heated by a candle, and the pipe and be moved in and out of the flame as desired, and a makeshift cap can also be used to make sure none of the goodies goes to waste, but as long as you draw while its being heated there should be only minimal waste.
Opium doesn't cause the hardline euphoric high like OC's or H... Its a pleasantly mellow body high. I would rather do an OC any day, but you should definitely try opium. I usually ball up alittle and put it on an unraveled paper clip, the light it and blow the flame out. After that take a 1/2 inch tube of some kind and SLOWY inhale the smoke through the straw. Enjoy!
try smoking it with an opium pipe or vape, you get the exact same thing as when you're smoking heroin just at lower doses, so if you smoke high quality opium and you smoke it fast enough you will experience kind of the same thing.
