Your Least favourite Bob Dylan song?

Anyone have a least favourite Bob Dylan song? Including his more recent stuff. I came across one called 'Angelina' on the bootleg vol.3 last night.

I'd deffinatly say some of the newer stuff is seriously hit or miss though.

some on his newest cd sounds bad imo.

 

With a few exceptions I think most of his songs are actually very boring.

 

funny, that's without a doubt my favorite Dylan song.

 

I think the ONLY one I really don't much like is Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.

His newer stuff doesn't impress me much (80's-now) so I won't count that.

Meet Me in the Morning used to be my least favorite, but it's really growing on me now...

 

i used to HATE lonesome death of hattie carol due to its lack of rhyme scheme but now i actually love it for that reason

Let me just say that I am a HUGE Dylan fan, but mostly of his older stuff, i'm kinda dissapointed with some of his newer songs.

 

I'm not sure I have a least favourite... I'm least likely to listen to songs off the born-again trilogy or most of his 80s albums, but I don't exactly DISlike them...

A friend of mine can't STAND Lily, Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts!

How can you not like Love Sick?? What do you dislike about it?

 

it just strikes me as so negative...especially when he's playing it live, the lyrics and chord progression make me feel like Im drowning...its a powerful tune, but I just dont dig the way it makes me feel

 

Fair answer, I can dig that.. Now you mention it I can see that it is pretty negative - I guess I've always kind of seen it within the context of the album which as a whole is kind of bitter-sweet. The song that follows, Dirt Road Blues, is almost the perfect counterpart. I wanna grab my guitar and sing that one right now just thinking about it, but I probably shouldn't as it's 5am and housemates have to be up for work soon
