Am I the only one who thinks the choice of Obama over Clinton is obvious? The Dems have all the stars lined up for big wins next fall, not that I'm happy about a recession and a prolonged war but still, the Dems will have the wind at their backs for a mood of change. But Hilary could blow it, seriously. People hate her. Even a lot of liberals dislike her. Politically, they are both liberal, in fact, he is a little more left than her. He seems to have decent integrity and is relatively free of scandal. She is associated with people who have gone to jail (the Arkansas governor who got hit with Whitewater), has questionable investment deals (1000% returns?) and a husband who has been disbarred from practicing law. Why would America want them (the Clintons) back? They wont. It is almost like the DNC wants to blow this thing.
If I had to choose between the two would rather have Obama over Clinton, though there are other Democrats I would pick before either of those.
Let's not forget the aspirations of the spouses of ANY candidate. They could very well end up running the show like Nancy Reagan. And if you considered Nancy bossy, just wait til Michelle Obama gets to the White House! Here's a woman who told her dear, loving husband he couldn't run for President until he quit smoking. And before he delivered that speech at the 2004 convention she was overheard saying to him: You better not screw this up! PLEASE, don't over look the spouses as you're voting.
they both have said they wouldn't be past the idea of invading iran. obama has even said he'd bomb pakistan. bottom line, both are war mongers who have much of the same interests as many of the republicans do. even rupert murdoch(sp?) of Fox news is endorsing Hillary. Rupert Murdoch was one of the biggest single promoters of the war in Iraq. something tells me he wouldn't bother endorsing her unless she supports something that is in his agenda.
Just listening to these people makes me laugh at how stupid they believe we are.I don't believe a word they say. Change is the theme for Clinton and Obama,and yet they are backed by the same old faces that have been around for decades.Whom have all led us into this current mess.The U.S. Costitution isn't worth the paper it is written on. Ask yourself ? Do you really believe that these people are really going to change anything in this country that will bring back the real benefits that were afforded the U.S. citizens in our Constitution? These people are puppets who's string's are being pulled by the old veteran politicians.They promise the same old crap every election,and the voters buy it. They are now using scare tatics to rob us of our rights,and freedoms. Look back at all the elections over the last 100 years and you'll see a familiar pattern.The government getting bigger,more intrusive,and more restictive,while we loose more freedoms,and rights. I would rather have a terrorist living next door to me,than to have a government spying,and eavesdropping on me because a terrorist lives next door.Where is the logic in me loosing my freedoms for the government to do its job ? I would vote for Ron Paul on the simple fact that he wants to abolish the IRS. This in itself is a major change,and one that would actually help the average citizen,and give us back alot of power that has been taken away from us. Thats why you dont here any other politician talk about it because they know this is how they controll us.The more taxs they get the bigger they become. They dont need income taxs to run the government.There is plenty of taxs on everything else that supply the financial needs of this country,phones,food,dry goods,property,gasoline,energy,registrations,inheritance,capital gains,sin,emissions,and so on.Let alone the fines and penalties that the government collects from the citizens for thier indiscretions. Well enough said,except that I wont vote for either one of those fools,(Clinton & Obama) who believe they can con me. A free radical brings about change,and sometimes change hurts.
