I liked US history because the teacher had us dress up as someone from history Naturally, I picked Al Capone and I looked damn good in that suit
HEY! I was involved in drama, and I hated it when we had to read Shakespeare in class because when it got to my turn, I knew how to do it, which meant that the rest of the class hated me. It had nothing to do with liking the teacher - I couldn't stand the teacher, I was just a good actor and I wasn't going to fuck up the meter just because everyone else was. And I was never "holier than thou" - I was what they called a Drama Fag, I couldn't afford to be even the slightest bit superior, or i'd get my ass kicked. I hated high school. Personally, I liked... um... It's hard to think of a class I actually liked. Study hall, maybe?
My favorites would have to have been any of the history classes I took. When it comes to history, I really know my stuff!
i wasn't insulting them because they could read shakespeare well, i was insulting them because they suck at reading shakespeare. i know the difference between someone who can read it correctly and someone who exaggerates the iambic pentameter to a sickenning degree. trust me, if you heard them you'd understand.
i wasn't by any means insulting drama geeks, i'm one of those myself. us hardcore thespians need to stick together
i'd have to say mine was a tie of a few. biology: the teacher always let me leave and go hang out with my best friend earth science: i never once did my own work in that class, the teacher knew it and loved me. i was never told to be quiet and yet i was always talking psychology: not only my favorite subject, but all my best friends were in that class with me and we had the greatest laughs. french: my best friend and i were the most obnoxious people in that class.
