I believe that I'll personally end the world in 2011 just to spite all the people who make threads about this bullshit.

 

When you say "end of the world" ... do you mean like the planet will burst into a million pieces or something like that?

Or just the end of the world as you know it?

and honestly I don't care. it's not because the world might end before I turn 30 that I'm gonna start enjoying life more/less.

The world isn't going to end. This is being promoted by all the new age authors to sell their books.

We are, however, entering a period where life as we know it will end and things will be much different. Things are changing faster than ever. We are making the shift from the age of Pisces, to the "New Age" of Aquarius.

The problem with predicting the end of the world is that it's a no win situation. If you're wrong then everyone laughs at you for being wrong, and if you're right then there's no one left to pat you on your back and congratulate you for being right. This means that anyone publicly predicting the end of the world is either not thinking rationally or can't be trusted. What are they hoping to gain by telling you the world is gonna end in 2012 anyway? Besides, it would be easier to prepare yourself for a major catastrophe if the rest of the world wasn't in a panic. Therefore if you knew for a fact that the world was coming to an end then it would be beneficial to keep it to yourself.
