Well I finally got a hold of some shrooms. My friend and I had a full 1/8th of some pretty strong shrooms and we each did a half. I wasn't expecting to trip, and i didn't. I just got really high off of them. We went to the movie theater since we had no where else to go. We ate them at about 7:15 and went into the movie at 7:30. We left before it ended because it was pretty stupid. I knew I wasn't going to trip like I was on LSD so I felt I would be okay. I did see some visuals, the walls were breathing and things were much more noticable and funny. After we left we drove around(I felt I had already peaked, if at all, and was okay to drive. I had driven high before countless times.) and went to burger king. At around 10 i took him home and then I drove home. When i got there i took a shower, looking at my pupils in the mirror after, and they seemed huge. I stepped into my room after and noticed i was still getting effects of them, the room was waving and my bed was "breathing." I watched family guy for about 30 minutes and it seemed a bit more funny. By 11:00 i was back to normal and completely sober. Just have a few questions. Mentally i felt sober, but physically i felt realy high. Is it possible to get visuals on shrooms while not mentally tripping? Would a full 1/8th of them make me trip mentally?
I have never 'mentally' tripped from shrooms and the first time I ever tripped (idk in terms of weight how much it was) I ate 20 small/medium caps and 3 large sized caps. My dad used to live beside a cow pasture so we went on an adventure one night and got a pretty big turn out. I ended up tripping for about 22 hours but like I said I never 'mentally' tripped like you do on acid. I don't think it happens. Shrooms are more of a silly trip where in your mind you know your tripping and your kinda just watching the silliness go on with no introspective connection to it.
Oh i see, i guess i was expecting there to be sort of a mental trip like acid. I heard that shrooms were more of a headfuck where as acid was more clear headed.. maybe its the other way around
I think it's different for different people. For me I have a very intense inner trip or headfuck as you put it with acid along with a pretty physical high and on shrooms the same kind of trip as you experienced. With a different setting and a different batch you may achieve the type of trip you are looking for. Experiment with it and see what happens. All of my shroom trips are pretty much all the same never touching my mind very much even at a high dose. I love shrooms all the same though. Every psychedelic is so different from another it's amazing. Another one of my favorites that brought on major major visuals with patterning colors of great magitude superimposed over my whole world and an amazing body high reminescent of strong mdma was 2cb. I have never seen the world so beautifully before in my life and i experienced complete ego death which is something I rarely achieve even on acid.
yea i think you got the two mixed up. in fact most people categorize shrooms as a mild LSD trip. anyway, sounds like you had a good trip. breathing walls are really fun to watch, but next time you should just sit at home and chill and think about your life so far, you may have a spiritual realization about something important. either way shrooms are great.
It always kind of trips me up when people say shrooms are mild or not really like acid but kind of, if you eat enough shrooms or good enough shrooms you will trip every bit as hard as acid; anyone who's had good shrooms and good acid will tell you that. Sounds like you had a pretty good time; if you do get the same shrooms I'd recommend an 1/8 of them, you'll get you're head trip and some good visuals for sure. When I get the shrooms my friends and I eat a half 1/8 will provide a fun, visual trip with some headfuck, an entire 1/8 is really, really intense; everyone who's done them has commented that they are very acid-like
yeah 1/8 is the perfect dose, thats what makes me boom, not just get buzzed i love being in my room tripping, it just feels like its the right place to be lol
ya i'm buying 1/4th of the same kind this friday. I was thinking of doing them on saturday. I was thinking of doing an 1/8th by myself at my house. I don't think I'll have much of a tolerance seeing as I only did a half 1/8th on sunday. Do you think my tolerance would have gone away by then? If I do trip saturday it will be the last trip for about 3 months. Anyone know how to store an 1/8th dry shrooms for 3 months w/o going bad?
Ziplock or tupperware in the freezer. Freezer isn't even all that necesary. No freezer? Use a jar and room temp.
