Mc Donalds!!! The seed.

Hello people, well, this thread is against Mc Donalds, of course, but what i want to share is my personal point of view about the bad thing that MC Donalds is doing around the world.

As you can tell, I am not an american, but i have lived there enough to understand the things I dont like about USa. In my country not too many people is into the Mc Donalds culture, for me here it was just a place to go and eat something on the go, but i didnt realized about the bad stuff until I lived there, in USA.

What I dont like is that they are using our kids, making them get used to eat their hamburguers, I dont like them, but it was a choice, for me, one of the last choices, but if you're used to eat them since you're a little kid, you will like them, it's normal, for me is not, I like food, real food, i was raised different, I hate the circus kind of decor on each restaurant, its discusting, for the little kid its like going to the circus, you got a clown, balloons, the colors, and of course the happy meal, the toy, the present for your visit, if you're a kid, you will loved too, get a toy everytime you eat..

Have you ever eat at mCDonalds all alone?, you feel bad, you want to get out of there as soon as you can, and of course with the half of your drink still on your cup, that's why in europe we dont have that big deal with the cup holders in our cars, over there in the States its a must. But if things keep on like this, we will need them, or at least our sons will.

I dont like what they are doing with our kids, getting them used to this madness, the you dont have time to eat, stealin one of the biggest pleasures, EAT, yes, its like that. For me Mc Donalds is making them work tools, where the less time you waste eating, the more productive you will be.

And its sad to go around the world and see Mc donalds everywhere, Its the seed of the doom of our kids.

 

Its all about the evil multinational corperatons and govt around the world especailly our own govt.

 

what the fuck ever happened to choosing not to go to mcdonalds, hellfukkinlo..parents choose to take the snot nosed monsters to eat the shit,,, there is no militia standing out front making anyone pull in there. why are they evil when it is the parents making those personal choices,,, is mommy too gutless to tell the kids no? oh lemme guess the parents have all been brainwashed,,, if thats the case then how do the parents that dont take there kids there avoid the brainwashing...

 

Yes, you can choose not to go, as I did, but the problem is that their friends in schools got their happy meals toys, you got to deal with it, they will not understand it, why is bad for me and good for my friend?. I dont have kids yet, but my friends got them , and they are living it, how to explain it.

It really isnt that hard, sure at some age they will eat them but until they are older the only way they are going to get there is by the parent itself... who gives a shit what other peoples kids got,,, it doesnt n shouldnt matter what others have n they dont...
i would suggest holdin off on the kids department if you dont know how to say no,, do the world a favor please...

 

It's not like that, what I am saying, I say no, as my friends, but the way they got our children is dirty, my friends are making the difference, saying no, that's the good part, but not too many are like us, and they got a lot of young people to seduce, easily, thanks to that awfull way to manipulate our kids. And when I say our kid, they are getting yours too.

 

The funny part is, the first fast food hamburgers were served in ancient Rome during the Roman Empire a few thousand years ago. Granted they were just independent hamburger stands and not a world wide chain, but they were still grilled ground beef on a bun. This makes it hard to blame just McDonald's for this problem since there are, and have been, so many fast food competitors. How about hot dog stands, now that's nasty. Anyway you look at it, there are a lot of different types of fast food and McDonald's is just good at marketing their product.

Now I haven't eaten at McDonald's in the past 4 years, and afterward I was able to taste it all day. Before that it was around a 10 year span without going there. I really don't care for their food, but I still see a need for fast food. When you're only given a half hour lunch break at work, and you prefer to eat something that was fresh cooked as opposed to something that you just heated up in the microwave, fast food places are a good alternative.

You don't have to go to McDonald's if you don't want to, nobody is forcing you to. As far as fast food hamburgers go, I prefer Hardee's. But there's enough different choices that you don't even have to go to a burger place.

 

I think we are getting away from my point, the problem is not the hamburguer, i like eating hamburguers ( not big mac ok?), the problem is the 30 min luch break, that's all, and mc donalds is making you get used to that on other countries, the eat as fast as you can, that's all, and the toy, the circus, all that is to make you go as a kid, if you get used to it, it will look normal to do so.

The whole world is getting AMERICANIZED, and that is not good at all, the seed is everywhere, that's my point, and Mc Donalds is doing it good, really good.

 

Yeah, it's all McDonald's fault.
They've teamed up with Coca-Cola.
They're adding addictive ingredients to their products.
It's all a plot to take over the world.

I dont think that Ronald Mc Donald is going to take over the world, but the one pulling the strings is doing a really good job, the seed is everywhere!!

i personally find your point really quite silly... makes no sense,,, because it is all about choice,, there are a gazillion places to go n eat lunch ,,, most of which use shit ingredients,,, just cuz you single one out does not mean the rest dont use the same tactics,,, getting back to your point ,, i think ...i believe they all come with kid meals n toys and parents should make choices... just cuz parents make stupid ones aint my problem,,,

perhaps we in america value our time more than you do.. perhaps we in america understand that "fast food" is just that, a viable option for those that have better things to do with there time..

america has more than its fair share of sit down restaurants where one if they choose can go to and enjoy a nice relaxing meal and take as long as they wish to do so..

if your real point is the 30 minute lunch break then mcdonalds is COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT!!!

its the government who set the guidelines for breaks and from there its the employers of people who dictate how long you get for lunch not the restaurant's.. in fact,many companies in america give 1 hour for lunch,not 30 minutes.
the restaurants merely cater to a niche in the market place.

surely your not being so naive as to suggest "fast food" sets the policy's for lunch breaks in america, and there goal is to do this globally?

if so that is ludicrous.. the 30 minute lunch break has been a part of american culture LONG BEFORE fast food.

your little rant against mcdonalds,or whatever it is your ranting about(as you keep changing your point) is making less and less sense...

 

fast food culture is an american invention. it's cars, drive-throughs and fast food and it happened right after WW2. McD's is spreading the "bread and circus" for all around the globe and to my knowledge no other restaurant has gone so far. the reality is that many people around the world view us with envy still and want the lifestyle we have. of course it's not the fault of McD's or any other business since they're just providing what the people want. that's why it's spreading. kids get sucked into, parents see it as an easy option and the cycle continues. it won't stop until people realize the long list of consequences.

 

Well... The thing is that the way I see it, it's not a matter of choice, you can choose, I can choose, but to a young kid, it's more difficult, they are getting into it without even knowing it.

The part about what people wants, well, that's my whole point, I dont want that, a lot of people dont want that, but the kids are getting used to it, and in a future, they will ask for it, you're manipulating the kids, let them grow up and choose, If you get used to it since your childhood, it will be normal and not so alarming as it is for me, yoy will not even care, in no time they will be asking for it, that's the terrible consequence.

if a parent is truly concerned about there childs welfare they wouldnt be able to get used to it!

McDonald's forced to shut from lack of patronage in healthy town

McDonald's is closing its outlet in a town known for quality food and healthy, local produce.

The fast food chain in Tavistock, Devon, simply wasn't being used enough by locals.

So after seven years struggling to make ends meet in a town that has won many accolades for the quality of its food, McDonald's will finally shut up shop on Saturday.

John Taylor, chairman of Tavistock EatWise campaign, said: "Because of the quality of our local food McDonald's has not been able to compete."

Earlier this year Tavistock won the title of Best Food Town in the South West.

Mr Taylor said: "I think McDonald's really started to suffer about 18 months ago when healthy school meals were introduced. [Take note America!]

"Children no longer needed to go there because they were being fed properly."

A McDonald's spokesman said: "As part of an ongoing review of our restaurant sites, it has become clear that the location of McDonald's in Tavistock is no longer suitable."
