im looking for someone to share my beachfront cabin with. its a steep ten minute walk through the woods to get to it and its pretty much right on a pretty private piece of wild west coast beach. its an incredibly beautiful place to live, especially in the summer when you can swim everyday. its a 20 min walk into the town or to the bus. a 40 minute ferry ride takes you to the vancouver area so commuting for school is a possibility. this is rustic living, so you must be tough and willing to take on a project. the room thats available is really big and bright with sort of skylight things and big windows facing the beach. it would be perfect for an artist or craftsperson. it was formerly used as a workshop, so its unpainted and pretty rough, also full of random crap, but its insulated and wired and has a place for a little woodstove (wood is collected off the beach) and has a private entrance. it could take a few weeks and a few dollars to fix it up, but you could make it anything you want. the rest of the cabin is basically one room with a little divider. it has a little kitchenette (just a sink, counter, cupboards, hotplate and toaster oven, nothing fancy), tiny fridge, table, woodstove, day bed and more big windows looking out on the water. the bathroom is small but has a bathtub. that would all be shared space. im kind of wary about advertising this, but i dont know anyone who would be a good candidate for this place and id really like to split the rent, especially since im planning to go on a trip this spring or summer. this place is not suitable for anyone who likes to party. there can be noooo parties here or i could get kicked out. kit drumming or electric guitar playing could have the same effect. if you play a less obnoxious insrument (or hand type drums), that could be ok. i would prefer a non-smoker but its not a big deal. i dont have a problem with pot smoking, but no druggies please. i would prefer a young person, like under 30, sex or sexual orientation doesnt matter at all. if youre handy that would be awesome, but as long as youre willing to help out with fixing up the place, its all good. basically, im looking for a cool, unique, laid back person who wants to share a prime example of the best of BC and isnt afraid of getting their hands dirty. the rent is $200 and for the first month, you wouldnt need to pay anything (just put it toward fixing up the room) and you could bunk with me if needed. please only reply if you fit the above criteria, are not a drama queen, and are looking for a beautiful, rustic hippy lifestyle. post here or send me a msg or email at jaegerkobierski@gmail.com and ill send you some pictures (which i still have to take) thanks for reading all that!

The sunshine coast is pretty nice. I know a handful of people from Gibson's actually. And Seachelt (sp?).
This sounds like a pretty sweet set up, I got one of those excited tingly feelings as soon as I read this. If I could find work in the area I'd defineatly be game. But I'm pretty 'career' oriented right now so it would have to be something in the carpentry/timber framing/log home field. So IF I can find work (I'm looking as of NOW) and if you'll take me this may just work. Only other hitch is I'm not free till the end of April. Oh, and ya, I'm pretty handy with tools and fixin up stuff and am very much so down with the rustic outdoors life. Photos of the place would be great so I could get an idea of what we're workin with here. Ciao for now, hope to hear back soon peace
Sent a PM on this... It's exactly what I'm looking for, and I can be there in about 2-3 weeks if needed.
