Any other Crowes fans around here? I've seen them over 40 times since '96 and every show has been a religious experience. Definitely the best live band i've ever seen. New record is coming out March 4th and I'm pretty pumped for it...anyone else?
I was dissapointed when i saw them live. They didn't sing any of their hits. I heard they had to come back and make it right. BlacK Crowes are a really good band though.
That what makes them such a great live band, like the Dead they play entirely different sets every night with jams, awesome covers, unreleased stuff, routinely play 3+ hour shows, and dont play their "hits" every night. They are still one band you can travel for and see multiple shows on a tour and never know what to expect. Ive seen them 4 nights in a row with only hearing 3 or 4 songs repeated. Anyone going to see them expecting a typical show where the band plows through the songs you hear on the radio will be dissapointed i guess.
I saw alot of people walk out on the concert. They should have played their hits with some new songs in between. I believe you should give the fans what they want. It's their money that made the Black Crowes successful. Period.
the fans I know don't want to hear the hits every night,most of them follow the band and visit every possible show just because there's a small possibility that they play an unreleased gem :H
