So what does everyone think about this religion? I don't know all that much about them but I would be interested in hearing more and everyone's opinions.
I'm a Unitarian Universalist (Solid.), and the central belief in this religion is that we haven't got one. A central belief, I mean. The underlying principle is that of acceptance and diversity; we always welcome new members (we had a convicted murderer once) and we will listen to anybody who wants to speak, no matter how inane we find them. I find that it's the perfect religion for me, because it fosters a sense of brotherhood while not being clandestine. Unitarian Universalists believe in whatever they want, as long as you are accepting of what others believe, and willing to listen. It's wonderful.
when I go to church, the local Unitarian Church is where I go. One week the lesson will be about Buddha, the next week about god in nature, and still the next week the lesson could be truths learned from Judaism. It's a very non-judgemental atmosphere, and it works well for me since I believe you can learn about Truth through many different religions. Check it out!
that sounds very loving and accepting, I like the sound of it, though I would not join. My Spirit is not in any religion, but in the dirt, the water, the air, and in me.
