I live in Tenerife, a party island, so I thought I know the vainest of the vain metrosexuals (and they are pretty bad!)

Oh my god. Fake tan?? Orange fake tan??? And the hair - everyone has the same damned hair cut! I'm not even going to mention the plucked eyebrows - sadly I know guys that pluck their eyebrows. I can understand if you pluck the strays and prevent an unabrow, but guys are shaping them now...

I mean, I'm not the one to judge on apperances; I let people be who they are, and I don't normally think anything of it. But I just think this is a bit crazy! Don't they notice that orange isn't appealing? Or do girls actually like that??

I think it's sad that guys today are so vain and conceited. I much prefer guys that don't give in to Loreal - because you're worth it. Guys that are comfortable in their bodies are sexy. Nowadays, men are stupidly neurotic, and it's not attractive. I can understand grooming yourself, and making yourself look respectable, but I think it's gone too far these days. It's the same for women too (although with women it's always been like this, it's sort of cultural, really).

This has turned into a bit of a rant :S Sorry!

 

There's a whole industry undoubtedly rubbing its greedy palms together hoping this becomes mainstream grooming standards so their market can grow. It's all about the money and anyone who says differently is only fooling themselves.
