http://youtube.com/watch?v=i_KGGS-g4jE http://youtube.com/watch?v=opNJi8zxXbs LSD research may be open once again to terminal cancer patients. maybe one day we will get it back! we can only hope
i agree, but judging by some of what was said it seems they are starting to realise how benificial LSD can be for some people and how powerful the psychedelic experience is for those who seek it or partake in these substances. i doubt in my life time we'll ever see LSD put back into the hands of the people but its a nice thought. human existence has all the keys to unlock their spirituality but yet the law still reachs out its long arms and wishes to control it. i found "god" more in psychedelics then any book could ever give me. im happy with LSD being where it is now, within my reach if i wish and others who can enjoy it if they wish as well.
Hopefully psychedelics will be available to people suffering with cluster headaches and OCD and all the other things it cures(does anyone have a list). Hopefully they will be available legally for non-medical responsible use under a license(e.g. artists and scientists). Unfortunately there exists a widespread opinion that drugs should only be used to cure the ill and using drugs for improvement is immoral.
so its immoral to use it for self improvement but moral to cure a sickness? isn't curing illness self improvement? to me, being at a low spiritual resonance will cause a sickness, so i use lsd as a preventative measure (so to speak) artists could get a licence???????????? you know...whatever, if that's how i can get it great but that really buggs me. that you'd have to be an artist or scientist to get a licence to use lsd--preposterous! (and i'm an artist) i prefer to see it de-regulized with an inormous information campaign to educate potential users.
fixed. I meant e.g. rather than i.e by license I meant people should pass a quiz before getting one just to show they know how to use the psychedelics without harm.
before drugs were scheduled it was perfectly legal for any man or woman to consume anything of there choosing, even if advised against it. i think as long as the user isnt involved in violent illegal acts while under the influence of a substance why should it be illegal for the user to consume anything? and why should there be a permit if they wish to take it? if the user of these drugs choose's to drive there car or murder someone then arrest them. what exactly is illegal about people sitting in there homes or places of there choosing, being non violent and expanding there mind. the law has put the drug-user down on the ladder of social ranking to where anybody who engages in drug use, responsibly or not is looked down upon instantly. its been said by many before by "the government doesnt want you to buy your drugs or some one elses, they want you to buy theirs." the act of scheduling drugs without reason shows the ignorence of the government to need something to criminalise to keep people tied down to what they call "reality"
great post the_most_sadistic, in regards to the quote above i say prosecute the violent act not the drug use.
