In any case, you should be abundantly aware that "kidding" doesn't translate very well on the net... and if your objective was humor then I suggest you work on refining your delivery. A good common sense suggestion would be to read the post as though you were its intended target and modify it before posting. Consider that the person who has gone to the expense and effort to afford this forum for you to participate may well read your post as a sincere critique. Bear in mind that phrases like "no offense" and "I don't mean to be an ass" and so forth- posted with the intent of defusing an incendiary message will likely have the opposite effect as a reader can read it as an acknowledgment of the offensive wording and that the author didn't bother to reword.

If this in any way helps you refine how you use your language and opens doors in your life then my measured response above was not in vain. Happy posting.
