my apartment, which is 20 floors up... am i gonna go crazy and think i can fly or something.. cause i heard of that once... someone thought they could fly while on acid.. and then died...

I highly doubt it lol. Its similar to mushrooms so if you didnt think you could fly then, I dont see why you would with LSD

 

well i think in any situation no matter where you are there will always be a way to kill yourself.

in the right set and setting LSD is a wonderful drug - nothing to be afraid of.

 

Not everyone is perfect 3xi and until a person experiences something for themselves, how can they actually know what it's all about?
The first time I ate mushrooms I had NO idea what to expect, I was 14 and had not even heard stories other than that you might hallucinate. After eating them I was expecting something similar to a marijuana high with more imaginative effects. Next thing I know, I felt like everyone one the television was a family member that I had known personally my entire life. Followed by breathing plants, kitchen floor tiles floating like I was underwater, and a carnival happening about 3 feet above my head that I was not invited to. How could I have expected anything like that? I never believed in the orange myth but then again, I was never told it. Some people take the words of others to heart and have no way of knowing wether they are true or not.

thousands of people die every year in car accidents. does that mean that cars are not safe? really, it is common sense.

i mean no offence to the op. there are many people who believe this shit and i hold nothing against you. but i would like to say, please take this oppertunity to understand how gossip and hear say is usually wrong, blown out of proportion, exaggerated or generalized when it shouldn't be. it is best that you find out for yourself and if you are going to listen to anyone please listen to the people with real experience. talk to someone you trust who uses LSD in a positive way - if you don't know anyone like this than maybe you should wait until you meet someone. if you have it in you to trust some of the people who post in this forum then great - there are a bunch of good people with positive things to say about LSD here.

The mind state you end up in after taking the acid (your trip) and the severity of your delusion will be the result of how much you have taken and of everything around you that's been affecting your mentality whilst coming up (set and setting etc). So, in your flat on (assumingly) a regular amount, it seems unlikely you will think you have turned into a magic bird that can fly out the window or something.

 

are you suggesting that if she took more acid that she might think she can fly.

are you speaking from experience? did someone you know take a bunch of acid and jump off a building or are you just assuming that a large dose of LSD would make the average person delusional?

 

well... you might think you're good to drive when really you're a plate of spaghetti.

 

i think that a plate of spaghetti would have a tough time gripping the steering wheel even if it thought it could somehow drive.

i have found that my judgment when it comes to things like driving are very good on LSD. i know when i am ok to drive and have never been in a accident. although i have heard of people who crashed and died because they were tripping. driving on anymore than 2 hits is dangerous unless you are way past the peak and visuals. please use your better judgment.

 

^even if you think you got control i would still say don't drive. it's too unpredictable what would happen.
