What is the most expensive thing you ever received for no cash outlay. And if anyone says anything sappy like "the love of a good woman" You will be shot.
my SG(from my lovely lady) kurzweil 76 weighted key polyphonic keyboard... line 6 spider II amp 200 watt crate keyboard amp...ummm...the list goes on...
A manual t-shirt heat press from my boss before I left TN. They usually go for about $1000 brand new.
i have no money. whenever i get something, it's basically for free. the lovin' from a sweet sweet man?:H
about 7 years ago I was walking through the mall and saw that service merchindise was closing down that day. I walked back to the electronics department and looked at these floor standing speakers with 12" subs, mids, tweeter. retailed for about 450 each and they gave them to me for free! It was some older lady running the place and the store was basically empty except for those and some other junk. She said it would cost them 50 dollars to ship them back so i could have them. probably the coolest thing to ever happen to me, I still have them to this day and they work great
Come to think of it, I've gotten a lot of things for free! I got my computer from my dad's office. They weren't using it because it was "kinda" old. (It's okay for me!) I got ddr, Guitar Hero 1 and 3, for free, along with a used ps2, and some other video games, from my friends. I get free Birth Control from the free clinic in my area. And I have gotten free weed from a friend of mine. This thread cheered me up.
a friend show me this thing online to sign up for it and I won it. The party was great, I got to pick the DJ, they were local djs, so I picked a friend and all my friends were there, it was kinda crazy actually. It was like 3 years ago, lots of alcohol, lots of cocaine, Im ashamed to say. The cocaine wasnt included in the party gifts
no cash outlay, does NOT, equal "free". certainly my wife, my rent and this computer, didn't begin as cash or cash flow on my part, but i DO take seriously being a damd good househusband. so i would definately NOT call any of that "free". there are other things i've had for the price of putting up with something or someone else at other times in my life as well. i would seriously not call anything my parents gave me when i was living with them free. or some of the other things i've been given in trade for services rendered. (sorry, i don't mean sexual. come to think of it, in at least some cases, I'M sorry i don't mean sexual, but that's another subject too). you know, at the moment, i can't think of anything that was REALLY "free", just a number of things that didn't involve little green pieces of paper. =^^= .../\...
