you will be considered very very famous, since ur the first human to live with them, you would be treated like everyone else, kindly and intellectualy. no suffering unless you bring suffering on others.

 

basically, what i meant by this poll is, if you had the chance to leave this planet, and the the catch was you couldnt come back? if you did, the universe will be open to you, explore - do w/e, just cant come back to mommy, sistah, gf, cousin, best mate w/e.

 

i couldn't go, i just love earth too much. maybe if everyone i ever cared about was dead i'd go, or if i really screwed up something on earth, but for the most part i'd stay. then again...in 30 years time we will probably all be dead anyway.

if the aliens are similar to humans then i would go with them...maybe.

hmm, I could stay on Earth and:
-go to college
-get a job
-hopefully explore some interesting parts of the world
-hopefully find a cool chick to love
-get strung out on drugs
-get old
-die

or....
-leave with aliens
-obtain spacecraft
-obtain eccentric yet fun/competent crew
-become space pirate
-travel the galaxy searching for adventure/fortune
-gain intergalactic fame and massive fortune
-die.....

....only to have my brain be implanted into combat ready cyborg
-go insane from brain transfer
-raise evil machine army
-crush the galaxy under my cybernetic fist bringing an age of oppression and hate to the galaxy.
-combat a rising alliance of outgunned, yet courageous rebels.
-begin construction of space station which, once completed, will be the ultimate power in the galaxy (with the exception of one or two "minor" design flaws)
-I could go on but I think you get the idea.

I'd have to say now that I'm married and have kids, I'd say no unless I could bring them with. When I was younger and unattached I'd have said hell yeah (as long as they had a supply of marijuana to go with it).

without trying to be rude or insensitive, does it feel like you ruined your life? or does it seem right and important?

 

I would go for sure bu on one condition... they would have to leave a uber advanced peice of alien equipment with my note so that my family arent worried and maybe the piece of tech would help advance the earth.

I say no right now...just because i think technology is whats going tokill man kind, but i know im the type of person who's down for anything....I dont think i'd do it though if I actually thought about it.
