    Beloved friends,

I just got back from Thiruvannamalai, where the great mountain Arunachala has been home to countless yogis, siddhas and masters, including Ramana Maharshi, Seshadri Swami, Yogi Ramsuratkumar and Mouni Swami. I had three days there with a group of people from Santa Fe, Hong Kong and India.

It was great being a part of the group yet removed from it, observing the dynamics and the behavior of the people, including my good friend who was their teacher. But the best part was, from start to finish, the total silence and clarity that the place brought me. I never needed to sit in meditation more than 10-15 minutes in Ramana's hall or on the rocks of Arunachala, before answers were revealed to me and I stepped up in my spiritual journey. It is truly a land of blissful spiritual unfoldment.

It is also a total hippie haven, with people from all over thw world coming in search of spiritual guidance and answers.

My biggest lesson was learning to be truly honest with myself in the seat of meditation and not simply moving intellectual knowledge, but focussing on my own true experience and what is real to me. That showed me the blocks I need to break, the knots to be cut, the steps to be climbed.

And the moment I got to Chennai, I found out that two great masters that I am drawn to are visiting town - Ammachi and Sri Asaramji. And when I got hmoe I found a job offer waiting for me - sorely needed - in a senior editing position at a really cool company in Delhi.

They say God's blessings are not a shower - they are a deluge that with rip off the roof of your house. And there is no blessing greater than the opportunity to meet living masters and share in their energy.

I would go to India for the fragrances alone. I'm glad you enjoyed your vist.

God's blessings are more like a tsunami.

You've got just enough time to smile before it hits you. :)

You wrote your response as "jedi" not as "bhaskar"... in that you used your awesome admin powers ;) to edit my post, which basically looked like I was replying to myself and ofcourse, it had nothing to do with hinduism so it got deleted.

I've wished to go to Arunachala for quite some time now, being a big fan of Ramana. Nice to know you enjoyed it Bhaskar.

This was my third visit, and by far the most special - I've come a long way in the last 3 years, so I was able to appreciate it on a much deeper level.
