I just installed that game for my girlfriend. I can help, but first I need to know a little bit about your computer system. What operating system does it have (for example: Windows XP Home SP2)? Can you tell me about your hardware? I need to know: What speed your processor is? How much RAM you have? What type of video card or possibly how much video RAM it has? How much free hard drive space you have?
I have XP, and my computer is BRAND NEW, I know it has a great graphic card because its a game computer, I looked on the CD and it has a a mark on it, so im bringing it back
Yes a scratchedmarked CD will cause problems. Before you get ahead of yourself... Do you have a DVD-ROM? The Sims 2 Deluxe disc does need a DVD-ROM drive, which you likely have. Let me know if you have any other problems with it.
i do have a DVD-CD, the tech who we bought this comp from said he'll come over to fix it if it gives us any problems, i figured id go on here so he doesnt waste his time, but ill try again and see what happens. Thanks lulu
The game is just like all the other Sims. But the reason may be because your disc drive just isn't reading it.
