basically the same as the wii version but gh3 games dont vary that much just on graphic quiality but still a good game and the controll is the kramer diferent from the wii xbox and ps3 version
does any1 else think that nintendo has seriously gone down hill since the nintendo 64 came out? i mean, that was a great console, with tsome of the greatest games ever on it (goldeneye, perfect dark etc) but then the gamecube seemed only to make games marketed at a younger age group, and their subsequent consoles all hinge on having a gimmick rather than good graphics engines and other stuff. sooner or later, games developers will probli get sick of having to adapt their games to work on a console with 17 screens and a blender attached, Know what i mean?
nope ur wrong nintendo has goten betterstarting from the 64 and since then theyve came out with something new with each console. and they will start getting better in the future right now their working on their newest console and claim that they will release it sooner than any onther company. and if u want harcore stuff get an xbox and play those games
I played it on the Wii and it was sooo hard just to hit the notes. The timing was different. I play 1 and 2 like a pro on ps2 on expert level. I don't know if the new makers screwed it up but I have a feeling it will be better on a playstation platform. The graphics suck too. I think my friends may have bought it for me for Christmas so I can't wait to try it on my console.
GH3 is kick ass. the only thing that gh2 has better is the bonus songs. there arent many good bonus songs on gh3. the online is great too so you never get cocky wth your skill. there is always someone who can kcik your ass. is rock band really worth the price? and is it worth getting if you dont often have people over?
the only thing rock bands is good at solo is the drums other than that only get it if u live with a bunch of peoeple or have people come over often
I have GH3 on PS3. Its the first GH ive ever played but the graphics look great and the gameplay is great. Dont listen to people that say its hard to find an oponent online and thats why you should get the 360 version. Ive never had trouble finding one.
guitar hero is for ppl who r too lazy to play real guitar Do something constructive watch the south park episode about guitar hero it illistrates my point very well
havnt seen the south park but i agree that guitar hero is mostly lame. It does help improve ones understanding of music though, rythem and scales, but not totally accuratly, but at least it does something. Rather play that then some game about killing people in the hood.
LMFAO, you sound stupid because you've already made the assumption that none of us who play the game can play the guitar.
if you can play the guitar then why dont you spend your time trying to better yourself at that instead of a game that will take you nowhere
Man, its not like people play guitar hero 10 hours a day until there fingers bleed and they know every note. If anything its to inspire people who havnt played guitar or cant play it, and maybe after playing it they'll pick up a real guitar. Who dosnt like busting a ray vaughn solo on a saturday night.
Haha, it IS a total waste of time but it makes you feel pretty badass when you're able to "hit" the "notes."
yea, i play real guitar as do many of my buddies, but guitar hero is just fun. just something to do when your waiting for some acid to hit you or if your drunk with friends or whatever. its just a game. no one bitches about call of duty saying "that game is pointless, go learn to shoot a real gun." its just a game. just for fun also it does expose you to songs you havnt heard before. i had never heard of Priestess before, never heard cliffs of dover, or heart.
ahh, this game should never have been invented. Young teenagers should be doing their drugs and bumming around in the streets causing trouble. Now they just sit on couches and watch kids play fake guitars. It's the end.... Seriously though, this game won't fucking go away. I hate it, because there's always one or two kids who want to play, and once they start they won't stop because they, like, need to beat dragonforce on hard, man, and then you end up watching them play for like 2 hours. GAH.
Yeah, I stand corrected. I had never played any kind of platform other than PS2 before, so I thought it was the game. I just got GH3 for PS2. Although it's different it's not anything I can't handle, and I must say that it is the shit. It took me a minute to get used to the fact that the hammer ons and pull offs are made easier, I started on hard at first since my experience with the Wii and X box was so bad, but after 2 songs I said fuck that. It's a little harder on expert than GH2, but I can appreciate that. Any tips on beating Raining Blood and Metallica's One on expert? I fail Blood Rain pretty early into the song, and One I get right up to that mofo riff with all the triple runs and just die. Lol.
I've played piano for 13 years. I always thought that one instrument would be enough to satisfy me and I never had an interest to pick up another. But now that I've discovered GH I can't wait to get my hands on a guitar. I believe in lessons though, I'm not just gonna pick up a guitar and fiddle with it until I figure it out. But yeah, I can't wait for the day when I can really play the songs. Until then, it's the next best thing and it's super fun.
