I've been thinking a lot, about how I dont love myself. It's not like I hate myself or anything like that, I just dont have love for my own person and when I think of it, I dont think of it as a bad or good thing, just something that is. That made me think of how much I love the sun, the sky, the rain, the sea, the trees, rocks, flowers, leaves, friends, family, strangers, because really I love everything and everyone, but I was thinking can I really love anyone/anything if you dont love yourself?
I personally think you can, but when it's people related. it isnt quite right. Not necessarily the love that Im giving, but the position I put myself in.
Another thing I've been thinking about is how I am so much like a child, it's beautiful and it hurts at the same time. It's not like I'm immature or irresponsible (well, only to my own person) ...
and I have to go get my clothes from the dryer now :)

We program ourselves with the music we listen to, the books we read, and the images we look at (movies, tv shows). If you find yourself gravitating to sad (or angry, etc.) music or whatever, it may not be that you seek those experiences out because you are destined to dwell on those emotions, but that you dwell on those emotions because you're programming yourself that way with what you choose to fill your head with.

It's like how my friends when they are sad, how they always listen to sad music. I do it myself, so I can't exactly beat them up for it, but it makes no sense if you want to be happy.

Some of the things we enjoy the most do us the most damage.

I'm thinking that i want to tear down my image of the world as i know it, and run off into the woods and live as a hermit unaffected by anything that the governments or corporations do. To Live in a cave, eating whatever i can find, and being able to love life no matter what isreally appealing to me..

Let us not follow vulgar leaders
Who exploit the fear of death,
And promise the bliss of salvation.
    If we are truly happy,
They will have nothing to offer.

Some leaders use threats to win adherents. They invoke death to force good behavior and to herd people toward paradise.

Others woo with grand promises. If you have no satisfaction, they offer bliss. If you feel inadequate, they offer success. If you are lonely, they offer acceptance.

But if we do not fear death and are happy, what will such leaders have to offer? Spirituality is an organic part of daily life, not something dispensed by a professional. True spirituality is liberation, not just from the delusions of reality but from the delusions of religion as well. If we attain freedom from the fear of death, a sound way of health, and a path of understanding through life, there is happiness and no need for false leaders.
