Did all of you feel like you had just been completely demolished psychologically and have to start from ground zero again after your first time on LSD?

For me, not at all really. I had just turned 15 and I remember when it started working, I noticed the strange comeup (I knew it from mushrooms) and after a few moments my vision became a laser light show of trails and underwater flowery. No divine thoughts only that towards the end I felt like God but it wasnt in a good way  Then my friends proceeded to invite two guys over and sell them birth control as morphine while I, God, directed the show. Definitley not a great time of my life but what are ya gonna do
    peace -

It opened my mind to the unseen world and completely changed not only myself but how I view everything past, present & future!

Oh you made it sound bad by using ground zero, sorry that's just how I analyzed it, anyway yeah that's basically what happened to me, LSD was the only drug I tried after weed, and it just changed my life. Then after alcohol, ecstacy, and cocaine I realized Mushrooms, LSD, Peyote and Bud is the way to go.

not at all, my first time was when i was 18 or so and all i remember is that the rain sounded very strange like waves and it was messing with my head because i was trying to fall asleep.

it wasn't until later in my life when i started to do research and meet some interesting people before my trips really started to 'work'.

people get what they expect - if i had of expected more i am sure i would have tripped out more. the only real good thing about doing mushrooms and acid in my teens is that it led me to a place where i started to take this whole psychedelic trip thing more seriously. for a while i think i took it too serious but that is what brought me here and i respect and use it wisely now. tripping can be a lot of fun, tripping can be a lot of work.

i don't think i have ever had LSD demolish me psychologically so that i have to start from ground zero. every time i trip i have to let go of parts of myself and i figure that’s what LSD is but never have i lost everything. i have been in a state of oneness with everything and in that there was no 'me' but i still felt intact as i came back like everything that was good about me just came back as it was before. sometimes as i naturally put myself back together i notice things i don't like much so i try to remove this from myself and although it takes some work and sometimes multiple trips i can usually rid myself of negative traits as i go.

i guess what i am saying is that how i understand it is that when we trip we loose our ego but when it comes back it just happens in a way that might have you struggling not to become the same person you did when you came in. the way you are looking at it sounds like you loose it all then have to work very hard to put it all back together. i am pretty sure it is the other way around.

thats true but i think they need to fear something or expect something wonderful before anything really happens.

    I don't agree with you.

I think all a person needs to do is eat the right amount of keys regardless of expectations or fear. What happens, is up to the spirit(alkaloids), and the person. They work together. If you just ride the waves with no expectations or fear it just happens.

when you meet someone who does LSD without any expectations what so ever could you introduce them to me. sorry, but i am finding it pretty hard to believe that such a person could exist.

LSD is subjective and what we expect becomes our trip. of course reality is not predictable and many things can happen that you were not expecting. we are probably both right. there is truth to both points.

I had heard about how lsd can be a life changing experience. so I entered my first trip expecting to be changed. and I was disappointed. don't get me wrong, it was an amazing trip and I enjoyed it, some of the best acid I ever did. even did dome deep philosophizing. but in no way would I call it "life changing", and since that was my goal I was disappointed. Everyone is affected differently.

the first time i did acid i felt like i was a totally different person the next day (for the better) and a bit different every time i've after. maybe not different....but 'cleaner' like layers of gunk had been stripped off.

Everything takes time. Even changing your whole life.

No one trip has changed me but it's the accumulation of trips that has shifted my world view slowly in the direction of what I'd consider enlightenment. You really have to work at it and even after the trip is over you have to consciously try to integrate your experience and thoughts into your everyday consciousness. Hey no one said it was easy! :p

Here I am! I am really taking it without any expectations, and I found out that you gain the most like that. I was not like this always, but expirience thought me to do it this way. It is not easy, but let me try to explain why it is so important not to expect anything.
You see, when you are looking for something, you are searching for it, you are so concentrated on that particular thing that you might not notice the other things that are shown to you. There can be something "in front of your nose", but you won't "see" it because you are focusing on something behind that. But, in most cases, that what is "in front of your nose" usually answers on all of your questions and soo much more, opening other questions, but, you can't "see" it because you are most probably thinking that answer on your question must be so much more complicated, and you look for something else. But, if you forget about your questions and expectations, you just swallow it, forget about it, and continue to do what you usually do, you notice every little thing that comes your way, all your questions are answered much more in details than you were actually able to ask, plus every time you start learning new frequences to vibrate on, making you capable of more and more "new" ways of comunication, so there will be more and more different ways to get answer on your question. I will try to give you a very, very literate example, but it is much more complicated than this. For example, if you think that visual will answer your question, you are focusing only on visual, but maybe your answer will come through the sound, but since you are focused on visual, you might not notice that you were given that information through sound. As I said, it is much more complicated than this, but you can only notice these other things if you are not concentrated on one. It is not only witch way it will be shown to you, it is what also, because sometimes you are not aware that you need to learn something else before you get your answer, and you keep wondering around looking for your answer but you will never be able to find it before you learn what goes before it.Only thing that should lead you through the trip is love, follow that and you will discover other things that I am talking about.
So, offcourse that you get excited or happy that you are taking it, but try like in meditation not to think or focus on anything, than you will be the most open to everything that comes your way, don't analize it when it comes to you, just expirience it, and go further. Don't warry, you will have plenty of time to analyze it when you are after glowing, or even few weeks after the trip. Use trip to expirience everything that it is shown to you without to much focus on it, belive me you won't forget it, don't use valuble time that is ment for discovery on analyzing, because even during that time something else is shown to you but you are not able to notice it.
There is also another reason why you should try this approach. If you are searching for something, you put yourself in front of everything, its "I WANT TO KNOW...", but it is not you that are the most important, it is God, or life energy, creator (call it whatever you like), and when you belive in that force, it will lead you through all the things you need to know at that moment. But when YOU want to know, it is spinning you in circles, whatever thought that you follow it spins you back on the begining, basically not letting you go anywhere before you realize that only thing you need to do is to be one with everything, without any expectations, just exist and spread the love. Have full confidence that you are part of God as much as he is part of you, and it will never let anything bad happen to you, its not you who need to think what are you supposed to know, its up to him, just belive in it. I found that all the information we need, we already have in ourselfes, we don't need to know all, we will be alowed to access any information that we need at certain moment, but we don't need (or have capacity) to know all at once, just let the force flow through you naturally and you will see that you will be shown things that you can't imagine, giving you much more than you asked. How can you ask for something that you don't know that exists? But if you are constantly asking for things you know, you are not leaving space for those things that you don't know to be introduced to you, basically you are limiting yourself.
I guess this approach also have plety to do with me never having a bad trip. That is why I like to trip for few days, because those days that follow that initial blast are the time for analyzing, saying what you've been through and that way you are learning much faster.
    I hope this helped you!

yah that makes sense, I really should do it without expectations
that first trip that I felt like really wiped me out, I was really preparing
reading as much as possible about it, even looking into 'metaprogramming'
and thinking about what I might like put into myself...

when your doing meditations with the chakra system do you sometimes feel
alot of pressure at certain points? Or even alot of heat?

I don't feel a lot of pressure, it is more like a bigger bandwith if you can call it that way, like when you are normal it is a small pipe that energy flows through, but when you are meditating it is like a huge pipe and since so much more energy is flowing through it, it tends to heat all the body, but not only one place. If it is only one place, it looks like the energy is aressted on that place and not flowing naturally, it is not reaching all the parts, like a bypass.
