who wants to be in an online band?

Theres no talent where I live, so does anyone here want to start a band? I can play guitar - I'll record it, post it, then someone who plays drums records that, then a bassist, then a singer, and any other instruments, anything. I dont care what order it goes in, I just want to know if anyone wants to try it with me. PM me or just add to the thread if you want to take part.

there are tons of good musicians.

when I was 16 everyone thought i was a kickass guitarist and everyone else sucked.
nowadays im 20 and I look at ali akbar khan and john coltrane and I'm like fuck

it's quite inspiring eh

 

what I mean is,
the musicians get better as you get older.
just keep practicing//playing//recording
and it will all fall into place.

I do agree with you, but the thing is, I live in the san joaquin valley in a little shitty hick town infested with meth addicts and field workers. No musicians, no joke. This is pretty much for fun anyways, though.

 

id much rather start a band with someone who can hear me live and make suggestions right there. someone i can write songs with together. a friendship.

All ive been working on lately dj type remixing, and stupid shit like that just so Im not wasting my creativity. I just bought a mic and an interface, so I can actually record now. but I dont have drum mics or a bass anymore, so I cant be a one-man band. Im downloading one of your songs right now, but I have slow internet, so give me time

Interesting sound, thats for sure. The more eclectic, the better. Do you have a keyboard that has those synths, or were they vsts?

I use reason & I do alot of processing with vsts. I have an interface, the amp for my mic is a work-in-progress I play a little guitar, handdrum and accordion. My guitar is awesome. it only has one control - volume.

 

dude you can play accordian!? fuck vsts, play the accordian. Guitarists are prolly the easiest to find, so if you say you suck at guitar, then don't bother recording it.
