The district that I live in happens to have a senior campus that combinds the 2 high schools. This is a campus for high school seniors to explore the "college" life style and study habbits. People that are considered for the campus are ones interested in going to a four year college (I am able to attend). So you wont have all the burn outs in your classes, just people interested in learning and going somewhere in life. The lay out of classes are 3hr. a week classes, so twice a week for and hour and a half. Fridays are off days but you can go in and see your teachers for help or make appointments. Also college credits can be recieved for some classes they offer. And you can still participate in sports at your school. I just feel like maybe I would miss out on my senior year of high school? But is this a better choice? If any advise or similar situations would be nice to hear, thanks.

And advise from college students now, if this would look good on transcripts or if you had the choice would you have gone to help yourself ease into the college lifestyles.?

I'm not in college yet (still a senior in high school) but I'd love the oppurtunity to spend my last year like you're describing! It sounds really cool. I hate the fact that (at least at my high school), the majority of kids do not care about learning or even paying the slightest attention whatsoever. In order to have a class that's not full of people who will disrupt everything all semester, you have to take all honors courses. I think that it would be a really cool and valuable way to spend your last year.

I did something like that my senior year and I loved it. It is an amazing experience and well worth your time. I would go for it.

I went postsecondary my senior year of high school...aka I went to college and had the state pay for it. My high school experience was different from most, so I didn't mind not being with the rest of my class. Perhaps if I had been more intertwined with my class, it would have affected me more.
College is expensive, so yeah, free college credit is fantastic. If you're really into all that high school memory stuff, perhaps free college wont have a great impact on your decision to wait.
