Skipping!!!!

Do you love skipping work/school/anything obligatory?
What do you do when you skip/skipped?
Was it workth it? etc...

Im on winter break, and Im skipping my lift attendant job at a ski mountain. I have to be there at 7am and I went to the bar planning to get up in time. I got home from the bar at 2am, played poker online till 5 am, finished rereading On the Road by Kerouac : ), and Im gona skip work and go to NY as planned. I dont care if they fire me, I do it for the free pass haa. I love life.

 

i cant skip work.i own it.but when i get drunk i dont wanna do anything for a week.but when im stoned i do my best work according to some customers/friends.i have a customer that calls and says "go smoke a bone and come fix my truck".im like WTF??you actually want me high as a kite workin on your trucks?and im not talking about small trucks either.

 

Ha Im the same way, when i smoke i can pound out a great paper, tear through a book in a few hours, etc. Do you fix like, big ass, big rigs? That would be tight

 

i work on everything from construction equiptment to the little gas powered radio controlled cars.if it has an engine i can work on it.

 

that will change as you get older/ wiser

 

wish i had skill like that. i cant fix anything. my gramps was a construction worker for like...50 years, can do anything from fixing a toilet to tractors and stuff. good mechanics are underrated

 

ya we are underrated at times.but the customers i get i keep forever.i have costomers that will actually search for me when they hear im back to fixing cars and trucks.i have other customers that will put out the money every month to rent me a shop just to work on thier stuff and still pay me for doing the work.

 

wow this freaked me out. i skipped wrk today too. i dont think i will get in trouble cause the people there are whacked but yea im gonna go blaze for dayz

 

yea the last time i skipped work i got fired, and boy it really sucks being unemployed

 

I dissagree kinda the opposite actually

i skipped 60% of year 11, the rest i came in for 3-5 hrs late.

i skipped maybe 3 days of college so far, i cant let myself get anything but highest mark possible, i have no GCSE's so i need to get a bunch of qualfications if im to raise the money i need for better cause.
